I 'm a fan of Rib City because unlike a certain popular rib place on the other side of town {ahem}, Rib City still offers baby back ribs! Yes I love a good steak, but I prefer my ribs to be pork. To each their own. I would rate their baby backs as very good. Now, there 's a rib place in Longmont where the meat falls right off the bone when you pick up a rib, and that sets my bar for excellence pretty high. I always need a knife to separate the Rib City baby backs. That said, they are moist and tender and flavorful. And I love their Hot BBQ sauce I wish they would bottle it! I ordered the potato salad and cold slaw as sides. Loved the creamy slaw but I didn't care for the potato salad. The potatoes tasted old and they weren't cooked thru. They were hard and I also didn't care for the mustard mayo. I took two bites and put aside my portion. Parking: There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and also to the side of the restaurant.
Worst ribs that I 've ever had the misfortune of trying to eat. Got both the baby back and St. Louis. Tough, dry, no rub, and the cooks didn 't even remove the veil/membrane. Don 't waste your time if you 're looking for good BBQ.
