After a long time I decided to give this place another try.
We opted for a side of Onion rings, 1/4 kg of buffalo wings, the Angus burger and the Tagliatelle.
The onion rings were crunchy and not overcooked but totally lacking seasoning, maybe a bit of seasoning and some sauce would have improved it but the way it was served I could barely rate it a 2/5.
The buffalo wings I opted for the chipotle glaze hoping for some heat in it but it ended up being oversweet and not spicy at all. The chicken was tender and crunchy and this one didn't lack salt but I was not impressed at all. Would rate it a 2.5/5.

I can't find the words to describe how amazing the main dish was. I've had lots of pleasure ke experiences in life but I never knew food can make you feel so much job from just the pure taste. The three sauces were all amazing for dipping and gh and fries... I don't know how they've got the charcoal grill taste in them but ut they were to die for.. And you get to keep topping them up if you have the stomach for them. The steak I had was medium rare and I feel like it made me experience pleasure I didn't know possible from eating. A few friends and I went here in hope of a decent rack of ribs. We ordered a full premium rack of Pork ribs as we were told they would be larger and juicier. When they came out there was no glaze or sauce on them, and no one to ask to get some. By the time someone came over he didn't offer anything worthwhile and said they must have forgotten to add the sauce. Pathetic.
The chips and calamari were terrific, but not good enough to make up for a horrible serving of ribs.

Before heading to Brisbane, I had heard a lot of talk about this restaurant. However, I was a bit disappointed with the $40 steak. The fries and sauce were delicious though. The ambience was nice and the staff were fun and friendly, willing to share the history of the place. It's a good option for a simple, no-frills dinner, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again.
The restaurant has a cool atmosphere with good vibes. The staff were polite and the service was decent. The menu is straightforward with a few appetizers, one steak option, and a selection of desserts. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the chips were hot and crispy. I don't believe the prices are too high, very reasonable indeed.
Epic night out. The steak was divine, along with the frites which were super yum. We got a couple of different sauces and both were amazing. Definately hit up the bone marrow as a starter too. Not usually my thing but was A-MAZING! The staff were super attentive and friendly. Decor is cool and exudes french charm. Definitely worth popping by.
I have now eaten at both the Valley R&R, as with this one at Milton. Glad to report both places have provided great steaks and ribs. Our steaks tonight cooked to order and served with a creamy mash and coleslaw, pretty much hits the spot. Service was attentive and good knowledgable staff to make the meal all the better.

Average. There are several other restaurants in Brisbane that offer better ribs (Ribs & burgers, St James Crabhouse). Atmosphere was great however. Maybe we just had an average experience ....
The service at this restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (5 stars). The wine selection was enjoyable, but the steak only received 4 stars.
