My friend and I went to the restaurant for a catch up lunch. They had on offer $20 for a 2 course meal and a glass of wine. The choice of meal 1st course was either fish and chips or roast beef, dessert was about 3 choice and the wine was white or red.We both chose Fish and Chips. The wait was minimal, the fish and chips were beautiful. Freshly cooked, great chips, salad with home made mint salad dressing and also a sweet and sour dressing too. Excellent.Dessert I chose Chocolate mousse - superb - told the chef better than the Crown Casino, my friend had the Crème Bruelle again excellent.White wine was very good too. We arrived and were seated and asked for some Garlic Bread to have while we looked at the menu. We were told by the waitress the chef was on his own and as there were several big tables that would not be possible!! We should have just left then. We managed to order Garlic bread when we placed our order for dinner which when it came was burnt in places and 2 pieces for nearly $6.00 one of the most expensive garlic breads around. We originally went to Ricciardo's for a cup of coffee but after perusing the menu we decided to have lunch as well. We sat out the back at a wooden table under dappled shade surrounded by lots of pot plants and garden knickknacks that you could purchase from the restaurant.Our meals were utterly delectable. Starting with Garlic bread and progressing through to my normal steak dish and my wife had a chicken dish. This was followed up by sweets and a n affogato coffee.The service was exemplary - attentive to our needs and well spaced arrival of our choice of dishes.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will return. We were a table of six adults. We all had different main meals and not one complaint.The service was exceptional, couldn't fault it. Staff were more than happy to answer our queries re where fish was sourced and happy to suggest variations to veggies. Would definitely recommend it. Would love to have had desserts, but we were all satisfied with size of mains and couldn't fit them in. We will definitely go back again and have already recommended to other friends. This place did the most amazing food but they sure did give us the hint they wanted us to leave (quite early mind you). They turned off of all the lights and watched us hoping we would get the message.... The waitress didn't speak very good english and appeared inexperienced. We took the lovely outdoor table and the atmosphere was great apart from the service. We weren't asked what we thought about the food either.
This restaurant is extremely family-friendly. The server brought the kids a plate of fruit, as well as Easter eggs, and after the meal, they were given ice cream and marshmallows. There were also plenty of toys for them to play with. The children were happy, which made the parents happy too! The restaurant also had live music, making for a lovely evening. Thank you.
Very enjoyable dinner. We had a tasting plate for two and it was incredibly tasty. My partner had shanks and I had veal, very delicious. The staff were exceptional. I asked for a calamari take away for my son and he loved it. I only live walking distance from this restaurant - what a surprise I'll be back.

Save your money and stay at home! Bad service no atmosphere and tiny overpriced portions with way too much salt . Was a birthday dinner so very disappointing ???? Is there actually a chef cooking this food?
