The Tom Kha Vegetable Tofu soup (made special without fish sauce) was very hearty and fresh tasting and tasty. I don't think we've ever had so many veggies and tofu cubes in soup like this from any other Thai restaurant. Perfect. The Thai iced tea was way too sweet for us, but they gladly split the drink and diluted each with black tea 50%. The result was much better. The mango rice was ok. The rice felt too old or too much cream, I dunno. The actual interior table seating is good only for small groups. It feels like a neighborhood little hole in the wall locals' eatery. The vegan options here are incredibly delicious, and there's far more than just one or two choices! The service is excellent as well; they always recognize my voice when I call and know exactly what I’m ordering. I guess that’s what happens when you eat here about twice a week! Wow, this place is seriously underrated! The food is excellent and as authentic as you can get. On top of that, the family running it is fantastic—so kind, dedicated, and talented. It’s my favorite restaurant, and it’s not just because I live nearby; I would happily drive out of my way to come here instead of any other Thai spot!
The food needs improvement; the customer service was good, but on my last visit, the food was cold. Additionally, I found a hair in my soup once.
