The menu offers more options, the food quality is superior, the atmosphere is pleasant, parking is convenient, and the service is excellent—overall, it’s a solid 50% better compared to the Noodle Shack in Long Beach. Come on, give us a reason to keep coming back because this place has definitely earned our loyalty.
We started with their fried chicken wings topped with sliced shallots, jalapeños, and what looked like fried shallots as garnish. I highly recommend these! Coming in from Texas, there is not a lot of Cambodian food options, so I definitely had to check this place out. We came in relatively late but they still served us! The noodles were delicious and fresh and came in good portions for the price. Shout out to our server Christina who was very quick, attentive, and very nice! I ordered the wings once which was really crispy and well seasoned. The Cha Quai was also delicious, Warm, and crispy. The Phom Penh noodles are very authentic! The portions are a decent size with a very warm and delicious soup. There is also a lot of variety including fried noodles, rice, beef sticks, Boba tea, and more. Highly recommend to check this place out!
I absolutely love this place for its amazing selection of noodles. I ordered a dish with tripe in a rich tomato broth, accompanied by thick egg noodles and thin rice noodles. They also offer bread for dipping into the broth, which is delicious on its own but truly wonderful when paired with the soup. It's a bit surreal visiting here since I used to frequent it when it was Guppy Teahouse, but it's definitely a better spot now. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
I absolutely love this restaurant! The Cambodian cuisine is fantastic and prepared in a contemporary style. While it’s traditional in every aspect, the atmosphere is modern and inviting. I appreciate how clean the place is, and the staff are incredibly friendly! Whenever I'm in LA, I always make a point to visit for the comforting dishes. With so few Khmer restaurants in the area, this one truly sets the standard.

RiceString Noodle Shack is excellent, and is worth the drive to Cerritos. I wish there were more Cambodian cuisine restaurants in LA. The main go to dishes for my partner and I have been the meat pie, the loat cha, congee, doughnuts and noodle soups. You won't be disappointed with the food here the smell alone will draw you in for some good Cambodian deliciousness!
Love the noodles, however they messed up on my order and by the time it was served my friend is already done with her food. Nevertheless, they took out my bill because of the inconvenience. I didn't really enjoyed my food since i was starving and by the time I got the noodles, I already lost my appetite. But would still recommend this place. Good food.
Often order #1 with egg noodles and soup on the side. This place is a wonderful location for noodles. Must try bread sticks which go well with the soup; they make it fresh too. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have free pickled chili anymore. Overall, worth the drive.
I love the simple yet casual ambient and dishes. I have visited at least 6 times before writing my review. I am giving this cute place a 5 star rating for flavorful dishes and for the staffs....great people. I recommend going on weekdays.....weekend, I hate waiting.

Excellent and friendly service by multiple staff members and really delicious food. Can’t wait to come back here. Tried rice porridge with tilapia and #17 noodle bowl with broth on side.
Food here is pretty good. I had the beef and beef ball noodles with the bread. Delicious. The student Noodle is also good. I recommend that dish if you ever come here.
