Prime Butcher Shop is undoubtedly the top butcher shop in Connecticut! They offer a fantastic variety of meats, perfect for any special occasion. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help you make the right selection. Even if you're not a master chef, they provide helpful tips on cooking steak and more. I love that they have pre-made items available, making weeknight dinners a breeze. The quality of their cuts is unparalleled, you can definitely taste the difference compared to other stores. I give Prime Butcher Shop a well-deserved 5 stars.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The owner always greets me warmly, and today I received exceptional customer service. I purchased some small appetizers, but discovered that half of them were not opened. I mentioned this politely, as it was a first for me. To my surprise, the owner was incredibly friendly and insisted that I did not have to pay for anything I purchased today, despite my insistence. This kind of old-fashioned service truly impressed me.

What an amazing experience. The owner always says hello, and today I received amazing customer care.I had purchased some Littlenecks, half of which didn’t open. I very polite mentioned this, as I have never had it happen. Long story short, he was so kind and didn’t let me pay for one thing I purchased today, even when I insisted!Old fashioned service…
I highly recommend this restaurant for making Christmas dinner easy. The meat cuts were outstanding and the lobster tails were very fresh. Everyone enjoyed the side dishes as well. The staff was fantastic when I picked up my order on a busy Christmas Eve. Eddie was extremely helpful in planning my Christmas dinner.
I ordered a fresh Turkey, I was charged $116 for the 16lb Turkey. Got home to find out the whole inside was frozen. I could have gone to grocery store for the same thing and saved myself around $80. Look elsewhere when it comes to poultry atleast.
We have catered from Ridgefield Prime for the last two to three years (skipping 2020) for our annual Halloween party. Eddie is wonderful to work with and makes the process easy. The food, especially the ribs, were great!

I adore this restaurant. I have never had a disappointing meal here! The staff is extremely welcoming and always acknowledges you as soon as you walk in. I can't get enough of the bone-in ribeye!
One of the remaining quality butcher shops. Good selection. Good service. A worthy addition to the local shopping options.
