I found the narrow street off of Plaza Mayor easily, and stepped into El Rinconcito; a modern looking restaurant with some classic touches. I ordered a water, and looked over the menu. The first thing that I wanted wasn't available, so I chose the caldereta de cordero (lamb stew). When it arrived, I was glad I couldn't have my original choice. The stew was delicious and well presented, with four wedges of potato around the edge. Because it was early, I had the place to myself for most of my meal, and was able to listen to the server and chef discussing what the specials would be that night. Hotel bien situado en el centro neurálgico de la ciudad. Las instalaciones son un poco antigüas. Pero las camas están bien y son cómodas. Solo un detalle no me gusto... Lo reserve por que era pago en el hotel, y me cobraron el día anterior con la tarjeta que puse de fianza. Pensaba pagar en efectivo en el hotel.

We got the last table free for a margin of seconds and then countless people were asking for a place in a crowded plasencia. the local is modern, very well served with a seemingly traditional letter but that presents the dishes in a modern and very interesting way. non-economic prices but contents.
We ate from menu, eur. everything very good and well presented. I told them not to put bread on me, unless it was gluten-free and they immediately baked one gluten-free for me. the staff very friendly and attentive. we were calm and very a drop.
