I began my meal with the Marshmallow Soup, which, despite its name, doesn’t actually contain any real marshmallows. It was served with fresh bread. The creamy marshmallow tomato soup was an unexpected delight it had a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, with a velvety texture that made me want to savor every spoonful. Our family went to Rise to celebrate my husband's birthday. Since we were having a hard time deciding which souffle we each wanted we decided to order several and share them. They were delicious! My husband's favorite was the Avocado Shrimp souffle and my favorite was the Herb Spicy Sausage souffle! Since I'm gluten free, we requested that all of the souffles be prepared gluten free. Our waiter assured us that it would not negatively affect the texture. This is an American restaurant with French dishes.Marshmallow soup was interesting to try but not something I would want to eat again. I thought the tomato base soup was nothing special.Salad Niçoise was good. The tuna was nicely seared although I would add some black pepper to it to make it even better.The Parisian Sandwich was stuffed with too much ham and was served with chips.Grand Mariner soufflé was way too big. It looked like it was well baked but made my stomach upset and made me release gas.I wouldn’t recommend coming here on a first day to avoid embarrassment.
Our server, either Garrett or Gary (I can’t quite remember), was fantastic! The food was delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere was lovely—it felt more like being in France than in Dallas. The seating area has a unique, eclectic vibe that adds to the experience. While I wouldn’t classify it as an everyday casual dining place, it’s definitely a restaurant worth visiting at least once.
I am a big fan of the French cuisine and this place is one of my favorites! I moved away from Dallas but anytime I’m in town I make sure I visit Rise. The interior is so cozy and nicely decorated. The soufflés are to die for. They have so many options to chose from. The cheese platter and the French onion soup are delicious too. Don’t forget to save some room for dessert.
Ladies, take your mom or girlfriends here! This is a great little place with a cozy environment. I have tried almost every souffle they have and I can't say anything bad about any of them. I try to go here as often as possible. Really nice staff and absolutely wonderful food. Before you go, take a photo of yourself under their logo banner.

Wow on the service and atmosphere! Southwest chicken paired with marshmallow soup was perfect. Selection of Harney Sons hot teas served in a pot, not just by the cup. Pleasantly surprised by the fact that they have plush knit blankets for guests if it’s too cold inside the restaurant!!
The atmosphere sets this place apart. The soufflé was!absolutely incredible. Great service. Highly recommend. On a side note, restrooms are very nice and interesting.
