This is my absolute favorite place to buy donuts EVER. They have a heath bar donut that is without a doubt Heaven. I have had just about every different type of donuts they make, and I don't have a bad thing to say about any of them. I recently moved a few states away, and I Bragg about this place to anyone and everyone who tries to convince me other places have the best donuts. However, they don't even compare to Amish Crack. I wish they delivered out of state.
The store is very clean with free samples thoughout. Staff is friendly too. I'm not a donut person, but the donut hole I sampled was amazing. The donut is pillowy soft and their signature cinnamon-caramel glaze/topping is lovely. Their cashew crunch was probably the best I've ever had. The brittle was just the right amount of hard and delivered such a satisfying crunch when you bite down. Crispy, buttery goodness. Perfect place to get gifts for family/friends!
Loved the place! Lots and lots of baked goods galore. They had a sale on different varieties of specialty popped popcorn for only a buck a container. It was sooo good and you sure couldn't beat the price. Even had a customer in the check out line break out singing to everyone in Italian I believe, but who am I. They had pies, cakes and just about everything in between. Well worth the stop.
This was a start to a wonderful weekend getaway adventure in Amish country! My friends raved about the cinnamon caramel donuts here and how it started as a shed in the front yard and turned into multiple locations. But donut was wonderful and the coffee was perfect. Hubby had BLT chic noodle soup. I had a chicken bacon ranch (but I had them put rise n roll sauce instead of ranch) this was some of the best food we've had since being in the area. Those little donut holes are divine!
This bakery/restaurant was exceptional when owned locally. Service is still up there, but the bakery items are not the same. Don't come after lunch, not much selection
