Just been here for our first time. We all had a range of breakfasts (inc one veggie). We were approached by a lovely, smiley member of staff who ran through the menu and how to order etc. it was a lovely old school cafe which had lovely welcome vibes. Our food came out in good time, piping hot and cooked wonderfully. Loved that it wasn’t swimming in oil like some others and you could tell they use good produce. Thanks for a lovely brekkie and we will definitely be back soon Nikki
I popped in here for a late(ish) breakfast it was about 10:45. The two women behind the counter were smiley and friendly, and there were several other customers there, too. They looked like builders always a good sign! I ordered breakfast. The tea was excellent, and when tge breakfast arrived, it was just what I hoped for. The sausages were of good quality, as was the bacon, and perfectly cooked. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and I shall certainly return!
Yesterday, while at a fair in Ramsgate, we decided to stop by this cafe on our way back. I used to frequent this cafe when I lived in Ramsgate, and it was always bustling with customers - particularly railway workers from across the road. The interior was clean, fresh, and well-lit, with friendly staff who easily accommodated our dietary requirements. The prices were also very reasonable.
We popped in for a quick takeaway sausage sandwich before getting on the train and I have to say it really was the best sausage sandwich I have ever eaten. On top of this, the service was so friendly and helpful and the restaurant is spotless. I would have loved to have had the time to sit down to eat and next time I am in Ramsgate, I will........... My brother and I stopped there for breakfast after school run. My first visit and expectations exceeded! Bacon was cooked perfectly without having to ask and sausages were very good quality! Great size breakfast at a good price! Service was fast and ladies behind the counter we great. Couldnt recommend more!
We had breakfast and coffee at the Rising sun cafe. The breakfast was really lovely although we were waiting a while. The milky coffee was interesting and the milk tasted slightly burnt, it’s abit annoying you can’t pay with card either. Not bad for a breakfast.
A really tasty breakfast ahead of a day of walking 25 miles. The fact that I didn't feel hungry until about 4pm was down to the hearty and tasty breakfast. The Sausages and bubble were particularly good. Service friendly and efficient.
The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic, and they also offer vegan options. Thank you for providing exactly what we needed. The staff quickly prepared four breakfasts for us in less than 10 minutes, as we had to catch a train. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I have been to Rising Sun several times, but I was disappointed with the food today. I recommend going to eat when the main chef is cooking, as the food is usually fantastic.
