Have been here on occasion, always enjoyed the food.This trip was no different.Nice fresh salads, perfectly cooked entrees, and delicious sweet desserts.Between our group, we had the Caesar salad with a prosciutto chip (needed a bit longer in the dehydrator), and thinly slice baguette crouton. The salmon with pickled onion and capers, and sweet pea and Mascarpone salad. Entrees, we had the Ontario trout which was accented with a baby tomato salsa. Fish was cooked perfectly. Desert was creme brulee and chocolate overload. Both great choices to finish off the meal.Only one small critique... we bit pricey for the set menu.
Fabulous bistro in where to eat, I simple love the place, ambiance is cozy, the food, wine( Chianti), and service are superb. Their food is unbelievably tasty, the grill calamari, New York steak,done to perfection, and oh my gosh , the Crème brûlée dessert with the drops of scotch on top fabulous!same as the gelato. Special congrats to the chef. oh yes , I agree to say that is a little bit costly, but the food is top notch quality, totally worthy what you paid for.One thing, we are missing our Spanish guy waiter! Try Risposta Bistro, you will not be disappoint.
We weren't sure where to go for my mom's bday while we were in the area, but a passerby said it was delicious. We are really glad we went!! Once staff found out it was her special day, they treated her like a queen - from the server to the cook - so friendly. The food was absolutely amazing - so delicious - and the service was wonderful. We sat on the patio and it was a really lovely afternoon. Seriously one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we've had! We will definitely go back if ever in the area!!
Without fail I always enjoy my experiences at The Bistro. The food is exceptionally well-prepared the service is courteous and prompt. We really enjoy the recently renovated patio. The Pride that is evident in this facility and this operation is outstanding and it is truly a gem in the campbellville in Milton area. Service was outstanding, food was very good and music was awful. Overall this was a four star experience. We had the pizza, calamari (highlight) and trout special. Everything was cooked well and served hot. I found that the kidney bean salad was a strange accompaniment to trout but was tasty. The music was loud and a little odd. Staff was fabulous. Beer and wine were expensive. Overall a good experience.
We attended this bistro not knowing what to expect. We heard from a passerby that although costly the food is top notch quality. Greeted by the Chef Sir Patrick he astonished us by a presentation of grilled/fried Scallop/Lobster and Nova Scotia Cod.Was our group requesting a second apps minutes after it hit the table..Tyler and Patrick will be back.Cheers Hilt in Group
I just had my daughter run in and pick up 2-15 inch pizza's, a four cheese and an Antonio's special. Pizza was pretty much the worst I've had. AND IT COST 56 DOLLARS! I have eaten here or picked up pizza on several occasions and it was fine, not anymore. Crust was undercooked,toppings lacklustre, generally flavourless. I do not recommend! I will not be back!
My wife and I frequent the bistro regularly we do have high standards and the bistro has always met our expectations they are always training new dishes. The food presentation is the best I have ever seen. The service and prices are very good. Found this little gem by accident and very happy I did. The Ontario mushroom soup was delicious as was the cannelloni made with homemade pasta. The service was a bit slow but extremely friendly. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.
