Yet another confirmation of the excellent all-round quality of this temple of the art of cooking (in fact the name refers to the works of art on display but I would dedicate it to the literally artistic creativity of continually creating extraordinary dishes. What 's more, with a brand new, exceptional, vegan menu, respecting individual sensitivities and the environment. Every time I conclude a meal, even after so many years, I find myself amazed by Master Oertle 's imagination: there is not a single time that it is repeated, whether it 's pasta, risotto, meat or fish and now even vegan. It 's a dream journey between one sensation and another, a whirlwind of aromas, flavours, visions of dish...
It is a restaurant with wonderful cuisine, the service is perfect, the atmosphere is fabulous especially during the Christmas period, the location on Lake Lugano is unique and every course from the kitchen is an explosion of refined taste. The large choice of wines will leave you speechless. The staff is super qualified and of a courtesy that is no longer found. The kitchen chef comes by the table to ask if everything was in order. Invited to a wedding, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cuisine and the punctual and elegant service. The only dish postponed was the champagne risotto, in my opinion a little behind in cooking and with less than perfect creaming. The wedding cake was a little ugly to look at but very good. Very beautiful location on the shore of Lake Lugano to be reevaluated in an intimate dinner.
Had the New Year's Eve gala dinner here with my partner. Simply fantastic! The service was indescribable, attentive, fast, professional and entertaining as well ; The food and the wine pairing were a revelation. Of course that can't be cheap. We enjoyed it very much. A huge thank you to the fantastic staff! We will be back.
