Pizzeria La Romantica

We are SO glad we found this place! Staying in Rüdesheim, we took a 3 minute train down to Assmannshausen for dinner. This place can do every pizza gluten free, and my coeliac husband said it was the BEST gluten free pizza he had ever had. It looked so crispy authentic! My vegan option was a delicious oil based spaghetti with chili, garlic, tomatoes and basil. Absolutely delicious. Our entire meal pizza, pasta, 2 drinks and a bottle of water was under €30. The owner had the biggest smile I’d ever seen and our waitress was lovely. Such a happy, ambient place to have dinner. Highly recommend.

We just popped in because it smelled lovely. We 4 were not disappointed! We had Italian antipasti, lots of it, fresh and yummy. Then fried fish, involtini, risotto and pasta. Gorgeous, big portions which we could not finish, they packed the leftovers up for us. Lively family place, lots going on. Unfortunately there are trains running past, which makes a bit of noise, but it's acceptable. Very much recommended!

We had pizza and drinks with our family, and it was great. They let us put our order in just before closing time for lunch, and the service was excellent. The pizza was very good, the typical wood-fired pizza oven style. We would definitely go again and thanks to the restaurant for the excellent service!

Bei jedem Besuch haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt! Tolles Essen und tolles Ambiente. Aber passt auf den Besitzer auf, er möchte boxen, wenn ihr wie Vin Diesel ausseht!

This place was amazing. Wonderful service. Amazing food. And a great vibe. Wish we could stay longer to come back.
