I had a terrible experience at this restaurant after a long day of traveling with two small children. We walked over from our hotel, having checked online and found that it was supposed to be open until 10:00 PM, with good reviews. However, we arrived at 9:20 PM on a Saturday and were informed by the hostess that the manager didn’t want to seat any more customers so they could focus on closing up. After asking the hostess to check with the manager again, we were reluctantly shown to a table.
We ordered the famous onion rings, chili cheese fries, some burgers, and kids' meals. Unfortunately, the meal was very disappointing. The onion rings were just bad and not even worth thinking about any...
While on vacation my Mom and I got burgers from here. She got the OMG platter, which she absolutely loved. I got the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger, which is what is pictured. There was no bacon on my burger at all. It was simply just peanut butter, beef,and bread. The fries were also cold. We were staying right across the street at the Grande Cayman so there 's no reason theyshould 've been as cold as they were. The Fries Mushrooms we got were big, and we were pleased with those. We also only waited 15minutes for it to be done, which is definately a reasonable wait time. All in all we 'd order from here again, just try somethingdifferent.
decided to try This place it pops up high under Google. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings. to start I received two that's right two onion rings. They were large, but I would've preferred more smaller ones. The burger was a good patty. I did enjoy it and I would order it again, but I would stay away from the onion rings. I did order wings. I will try them later and give you my thoughts.
The restaurant was almost empty, with only one other table occupied. My food arrived cold. I ordered the prime rib burger, which was overly greasy. Our server brought the food but then vanished, making it hard to get any assistance. Overall, my meal tasted like a cold piece of meat smeared with mayo and mustard.

Highly recommend this place! The menu offers something for everyone. I recently tried the jalapeño bacon jam burger, and wow, it was incredible! I paired it with chili cheese fries on the side—an absolutely perfect combo. Shoutout to the 73rd Ave location!
River City Cafe is consistently an excellent spot for a burger. This was my first visit to this location, and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly. I recommend parking across the street to avoid the Myrtle Beach parking meters.
Great burgers!! A favorite appetizer is the fried zucchini. Reasonably priced. Easy-going, comfortable atmosphere. Peanuts in the shell available at table. We always make sure to go when visiting Myrtle Beach.
We dined this past Saturday. Our server was Christy. She was absolutely Amazing!! Loved her vibrant personality! Would recommend her to anyone. Hope to see you again.

I had the blacken sandwich. It was way too salty. My blood pressure shot up. Stick to the burgers they are very tasty. The staff are all great and very nice
I have visited this restaurant on most visits to Myrtle Beach. The burger was very good and the service was excellent
