Since 1984, the classic Coney Island restaurant has been open 24 hours a day just a block away from Schaefer on Jefferson. I had a delicious meal, including a mega omelet with potatoes, a bowl of beans and ham soup, 2 Coney Island hot dogs, and a double patty melt with grilled onions that really impressed me. The fast and friendly service, along with the fun conversations with the local regulars, made for a delightful first visit. I can't wait to go back soon. mega big Greek salate. the Greek salate is one of the best I have ever eaten, also great prices at breakfast and really good laune. since 1984 old school coney island opened 24 hours only one block of schaefer on jefferson really good eating had a mega omelet n taters, bowl of bohnen n ham soup, 2 coney island hot dogs and double damn patty melt woven with grilled wobbles got me chopped back soon. faster friendly service with fun talk made by the local regular people really for a pleasant first visit. find them on facebook
Old School Coney Island has been open since 1984 and is located on Jefferson, just one block off of Schaefer. They are open 24 hours a day and offer delicious food. It is an old time diner that doesnt appear to have had any upgrades since the HeyDays of the auto industry. I always get the coney/chili dogs and they are very good. IMO. Waitstaff always seems to be as nice as can be expected in a place like this. If you are lookinv for Fine Dining this is Not the place you are looking for. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I ordered the steak and cheese omelette and it was burned on both sides. It had been almost 20 years since my last visit to this restaurant. I will never order anything from here again, unless it's the chili cheese fries.
this place is dirty. it's hard to sit on a table and take care of the ****. the chef torn speck with his bare hands before he put him on the pan. the only good one here is the coffee.
Hole in the wall Coney. If you must eat and have no options then I would go here. The place is dated and beat up. A lot of the menu items don't exist.
