Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals as well. The shredded chicken was some of the best I've ever had; it was incredibly moist. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. Since the restaurant is quite popular, I recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table. If you’re planning to host an event and want to treat your guests to Mexican cuisine, Rivera’s is a great option. My family held an event there, and everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. One of the best features is that you can decorate the adjacent room, making it cozy and perfect for gatherings. We all had a blast, complete with dancing! The only downside is the parking situation, but if you remember to check for street parking, you should be fine. You might also consider encouraging your guests to carpool, as we did, to reduce the number of vehicles—just a thought!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant when we come to Long Beach. It's small, but it's worth waiting. The Pozole is excellent!!! Never disappointed, great customer service and very clean toilets.
I could tell that the menudo was made with a lot of care. The tripe was cut into small pieces and was very flavorful. I'm so glad I discovered my new go-to place for menudo since moving!
