We'd stopped in Llangollen for a few hours on our way home from holiday, and happened upon Riverbanc when we were looking for lunch somewhere family and dog friendly. We were all welcomed in. We had club sandwiches (excellent) and two very nice kids sandwich deals, fries, drinks and a doggy ice cream. Service was friendly and prompt, food was delicious and the atmosphere and decor is lovely. Really enjoyed our visit and would definitely eat here again when we return.
This restaurant is fantastic! I highly recommend it if you're searching for a breakfast, brunch, or lunch spot in the area. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is friendly. There are plenty of tables both inside and outside, and you can even bring your dog inside with you. We tried the Welsh breakfast and the cheesy waffle, both of which were delicious and generously portioned with tasty ingredients. The service was quick as well.
We visited for breakfast at the start of our holiday and enjoyed it so much we came back for lunch on our journey home. The 'Stacked Full Welsh ' breakfast was absolutely delicious, as was lunch. We sat outside on the decking overlooking the River Dee on both occasions...What a stunning view! A fabulous little cafe in a great location.
Our stay was perfect. The family room was spacious and well equipped, my girls loved the bunk beds. My in laws stayed in a river view room and it was as advertised. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and location. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They offer a menu for dogs and have a waterside decking area with stunning river views. The coffee is excellent, made with guest beans. The food is of high quality. I highly recommend this place.
The restaurant provides a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying coffee and cake. If the weather is not ideal, there is indoor seating available. Additionally, there is a spacious outdoor deck at the back of the restaurant that offers a beautiful view of the river.
Fab food, friendly servers, we ordered food inside, as I walked back to table, the drinks arrivied. I had squeaky sandwich, and it was amazing. And got to watch the canoeist etc playing on river

My sons and I had waffles every morning of our bank holiday weekend stay in Llangollen. Lovely location with views over the road ver Dee.
