Regression!!! It feels like we're back to the state the restaurant was in a couple of years ago. The wings tasted like they had been refried from yesterday’s leftovers. The pork belly was almost entirely fat, which is not what you expect; it felt more like pork fat topped with Thousand Island dressing and beet shoots. The vegetables were brown and stale. The only highlight was the duck fat fries, though they were also topped with beet shoots. This summer has seen a constant turnover of servers, with new staff attempting to make guests happy. I didn’t see Matt or Sophie at all. It’s time to bring back your A team, including whoever was in the kitchen.
Been here a couple of times and every time I have left quite satisfied.They have an excellent selection of beers to choose from. The food is fresh not frozen. I recently had the Nachos and the Bacon cheese burger. The nachos are made with three different types of chips, with fresh Jalapeno peppers not pickled.The burger was lightly spiced, fresh made and the bacon was cooked to perfection and the cheese was real cheese and not plastic.The service staff was great, cute, attentive, talkative but not intrusive, it was the right balance.I not only will be coming back but I'll be bringing people with me.
First off, our service was amazing. The one hiccup we found was, they were in the process of changing their menu so, certain menu items were not available. This was slightly disappointing. The Fish and chips we're overcooked, and judging by the color of the batter, the oil needs to be changed in the deep fryer. The highlight of the meals that were ordered, was the Reuben sandwich, it was fantastic. The BBQ bourbon burger was also very good.I would be curious to go back after the menu is revamped, and everything on the menu is available.
I had a wonderful night out to see a friend perform there and I fell in love with the entire place. They have a large fancy pants drink menu that doesn’t break the bank and their food was delicious. The server was extremely gracious as I was wearing heels and their bathroom is down a flight of stairs, she insisted I use a closer bathroom (staff? and let me know where the key was so I could go as I pleased. The food was enjoyable, but the service left much to be desired. We waited 20 to 30 minutes for our drinks, followed by another 20 to 30 minutes for our food. Getting the bill took an even longer 30 to 40 minutes, so we ended up going to the bar to pay directly instead of waiting for our server. Additionally, the server forgot what each person had ordered and had to go around asking everyone again.
This is a fantastic little place with an impressive selection of drinks and a diverse menu. It's perfect for a Friday night out. They consistently offer great specials, and their Philly cheesesteak is outstanding. If only I didn't live so far away, I would visit more often!
We went here for lunch with the Dogs and grandkids. Unfortunately, the dogs were welcome, but the kids, not so much because of the VLTS. AGLC need to get with the times already! So we had to leave, we will be back soon as the place looked really amazing!
It seems there's a new menu, and the happy hour appetizers were quite good. I tried the adobo pork belly and the mini perogies. The pork belly could have used a bit more seasoning, though. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I would like to express my gratitude to two fantastic servers, Brandy and Sidney, who took care of my husband, our puppy, and me on Sunday, July 30th, and again last Wednesday, August 9th.
