It hurts to make this review but it needs to be made. I?ve been coming here to Riverfront Steakhouse for over a decade to enjoy what has been the tastiest, and highest quality steak in Arkansas that I?ve had. The service has also been second to none inthe past. Which leads me to my review of my dinner tonight with my wife for her birthday. If you?ve never eaten here or at ahigher end steakhouse before, stop reading. First off, we weren?t asked if we were celebrating any special occasions. Not ahuge deal but it?s customary. Hostess was slightly rude and seemed fairly incompetent, as well as she did not make the effort to properly greet us however we were promptly seated. The salad bar while having a wide variety of options to make a salad, had tongs where the food stuck tothem and was a particular pain to operate. Our server Chip had a jocularity to him as well as a well met sense of humor andseemed to enjoy his position. Before the meal we enjoyed the delicious bread rolls, however, the taste reminded me of a cheapHawaiian roll youd buy for a trashy thanksgiving party, which leads me to believe that they slided those rolls into a muffin tinso we wouldn't notice. Wir genossen die Guacamole und Salsa. Das Medium Guacamole und es war ziemlich scharf. Jede Person bestellte eine andere Art von Enchiladas und Tacos und dann tauschten wir uns aus, damit jeder verschiedene Arten probieren konnte. Wir wurden schnell getrennt, was gut für Leute wäre, die sich abends verloben. Unsere einzige Beschwerde war, dass es schnell laut war, was es schwierig machte, sich an unserem Tisch zu hören.
The bone in ribeye was fantastic and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The seasoning was the perfect simple blend of salt and cracked pepper. It was good food but not as good as the first time but that was a long long time ago. The service was great once I asked to be waited on. All in all it was a great way to celebrate 28 years with my husband.
