Was booked into here by my company. I arrived to find a spacious car park with plenty of parking. Car park is free but you need to register your vehicle at the bar. There's plenty of signage warning you of this. Headed to the bar to check in and was met by a lovely lady who checked me in promptly. She then made sure my vehicle was registered on the parking. She greeted me with a smile and was extremely polite. Once check in was completed she then personally walked me to my room to make sure I was happy with the room and showed me all of the amenities. Customer always wrong!! The Riverside has a nice location, great play area for kids but the service let me down. I went there for a bank holiday meal and was told that it was a Caribbean food event. I was excited about this, so I ordered jackfruit with rice and peas. However, to my surprise, I received a jackfruit and dairy cheese pizza. I am vegan, so I was not happy with this. I tried to return the pizza, but the lady at the front of house told me that I had already ordered it. I was not happy with this response. I later discovered that the Caribbean food event was actually taking place in a tent outside the pub. The pub itself was playing afrobeats music, so I was confused about the theme...
I visited a while ago and was fined £100 for parking, even though we purchased drinks and had a receipt to prove it but I still had to pay £60.00. I was never told or saw any signage to advise you needed to enter your registration. I did visit again with some family members. This time, i made sure I entered my registration. I don't know why i bothered revisiting, the welcome we recieved was appalling.I have never met so power tripping bar staff in my whole life ..i wasn't allowed to in put my registration until I ordered a drink, I was told where I could sit, ie out by the car park...completely and utterly rude.its a wonder you have any clients..just disgusting Service: 1 Location: 5
Spent a lovely day here. It’s really inclusive for adults, children and dogs alike, the play area is great and the pub itself is really nice. It’s clean and nicely decorated, the staff are really kind and the customer service is great. We ate the carvery which tastes really good, and the service was great, the man serving the food was lovely, he was patient with my children and even shared a few jokes with them. The owner was friendly and chatty too! Dogs are really well provided for too which is a great bonus. The location is gorgeous too! I spent two nights at the inn with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The inn has a simple charm and boasts breathtaking views of the river. The food was exceptional, particularly the delicious homemade pizza that was truly finger-licking good! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive; they provided us with a fan when the weather got hot and even brought a bunch of takeout to our room when we weren't feeling up to going out. A big thank you to everyone at Riverside Inn! Hotel highlights include a fantastic view, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent value.

I visited this restaurant for their Sunday carvery and had a wonderful experience. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant as well. There is ample parking available, and they do ask you to register upon entering, which is clearly indicated with signs. Overall, I would rate the location a perfect 5 out of 5!
