Visits Monday night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great! We drove through Reading and stayed at the hotel (one night), so wanted to eat something on site. We had read a few reviews that say it was something meh, but our experience wasn't that! We had both appetizers that we did not regret later on because of the quality, but because none of us could finish our net, which was absolutely wonderful!!!! The butter Chicken sauce was completely divine! Upstairs when out, the house Pinot was cold and sweet and the Cobra beer was fizzy. Both perfect compliments for our meal. If we go through reading again, we would absolutely not hesitate to eat there. 5 stars of us!
The spicy curry at this restaurant is excellent and satisfying. The service can be chaotic at times, but the staff is friendly. The veggie vindaloo and dhansak dishes were extremely tasty. The only downside for meat eaters was slightly chewy lamb, but the chicken was succulent. The onion bhaji and samosa starters were delicious and the portions were decent. It took a bit of effort to get the bill at the end of the meal, but the bar staff were helpful. This restaurant is great for a summer evening, especially if you reserve an early table. There are plenty of parking spaces available on a Saturday night.
Excellent and satisfyingly spicy curry with friendly if at times slightly chaotic service. The veggie Vindaloo and Dhansak were extremely tasty and the only issue for the carnivores was slightly chewy lamb and the chicken was succulent. Tasty Onion Bhaji/samosa starters, decent portions. True, we had to make a slight effort to capture a bill at the bitter end but this only involved a little encouragement at the bar. Great views on a summer evening but probably only if you reserve an earlyish table. Plenty of parking spaces on a Saturday night.
Just had an underwhelming experience at the Indian restaurant I visited yesterday with my family. The atmosphere was alright, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. It lacked any real flavor or aroma of Indian spices definitely needs some improvement! #indianrestaurant #disappointingexperience

I made a reservation for a party of 6 and we were seated right by the river, which was incredibly picturesque. The food was delicious and served hot. The service was a bit slow when we first placed our order, but improved greatly afterwards. I will definitely return to this restaurant.
Absolutely fantastic!! The food was delicious, the staff were fantastic and what a lovely restaurant, my first time there but won't be my last, great location right on the Thames and I cannot fault a thing, everything about it was superb and I loved my evening there
The restaurant is extremely tidy and welcoming. The staff were courteous and amiable. The food was promptly served after ordering, and we all relished a delightful meal. It would definitely be worth returning to this place.
On the river and absolutely delicious. Very clean and sparkly. Lovely views. The Lamb and prawn biryani is the best I have ever tasted..out of this world. I come here whenever I am working .
