A total gem indeed! We visited after seeing the highly rated reviews whilst travelling passed Newcastle and needing some lunch. We had two fabulous burgers which were cooked perfectly an a very generous portion. Alongside two drinks, these meals cost a total off £24. Amazing value! We also took some cakes out and these were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend and will certainly return if in the area.
We stopped by for breakfast this morning and were impressed with the menu selection and reasonable prices. We enjoyed breakfast baps with six sausages in one and 2 fried eggs in the other, all for just £5 - a fantastic deal. Serving lattes in mugs is a nice touch. The atmosphere at this restaurant is exceptional, with cheerful and friendly staff. The variety of cakes, pastries, and breads is also impressive. In my opinion, this is the top restaurant in the area.
First time visiting after a recommendation from my nephew….who also came with us! He had a pie meal and wolfed it down! We had cakes lemon meringue pie was amazing…..and lovely large pot of tea too…..So many choices of cakes, pies and sausage rolls will be back whilst we are on holiday, I am sure of it!
Food is great service is great sometimes there is a little wait to get in but the staff do there best to get you in ASAP I love the fact dogs are allowed in I would highly recommend Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My aunt and I walked from Shotley Bridge on probably the hottest day, to have lunch. Friendly staff, amazing food and drinks. Definitely worth it- thank you. We will be back
I love this restaurant and call in 2-3 times a week for breakfast. Their omelette is the best in the area and the cake selection is fantastic. The staff is always friendly.
