We ate here as a group of 4 having been sold by the terrace overlooking the river. First sign that the food won't be great is the plastic menu. Second sign was when the food arrived within minutes of been ordered. The food is obviously prepared and cooked and simply reheated. The lasagna that appeared was so tough you couldn't cut it let along chew it, lamb chops hard and tasteless and the casserole of the day that was actually tasty was so hot from the microwave it take some time to eat. Service was also unfriendly and rushed.
On a rainy day late May we stopped in Lourdes to tour this special must stop pilgrimage destination.We had lunch at Riviera Sol seated at the terrace overlooking the river. Beautiful view of the old castle and bridge. It was not busy, the service was friendly. The food was tasty. We had a ham and cheese omelette with french fries and ratatouille. Score 4* Pan fried porcini mushrooms with parsley. Score 3*(* We rate the dishes we try on a scale from 1-5, 5 being outstanding.)
We had lunch here when at Lourdes and we were not disappointed. The portions were more than enough for us and it was very tasty. Their variety was good and there was something for everyone. The outside seating area is beautiful and perfect for a casual lunch. The staff was very friendly and helped us with good suggestions. Thanks for helping out with the snails Alban :)Do try their ice cream.. it's heavenly.
Really enjoyed the pizza prepared here. The service was slightly disappointing the waiters were not very attentive and I struggled to grab their attention despite the being very few customers in the restaurant at the time of my visit. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. Give it a try. The view from the Terrace is excellent

My son and I were in Lourdes in June. Once we found this restaurant, we ate nowhere else. The staff was wonderful and the view from the outdoor café of the river was breathtaking. My son had the seafood platter 5 times! Prawns, salmon, avocado, etc. The duck breast was the best I have ever eaten. Do not hesitate -- stop and and enjoy!
We had dinner here and the food was good but not outstanding. But the service was friendly and our riverside table afforded pretty views of the river and the Chateau Fort There was a very big group and so it was loud at times; overall we enjoyed our evening
We had an evening meal and sat out on the lovely terrace beside the river. There were a few veggie options and I had a lovely spinach and ricotta lasagna. I found it to be good value and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Had a terrace which was superb for meeting friends and having meals. The staff were friendly and helpful as our friends had 5 year old twins.

The best dinner we had in the town. The staff was very helpful and efficient. The food was cooked to perfection.
