Pure disappointment. We were there a few months ago and weren't impressed. We were supposed to give it another chance and were disappointed again. The service was problematic and the quality of the food was too poor for the price. We ordered the entrecote, which was incredibly tough and hardly edible. The ribs were also 90% fat and had hardly any meat. The prices are hefty and the quality is poor. There won't be another attempt there.
This was a really nice break from the traditional German food, which is lovely but heavy at times. RIWA reminded me of restaurants in the US because it had all types of food, including a really good burger and amazing cocktails. I love a good cocktail but didn't find much in Germany, mostly beer and wine. RIWA had an amazing twist on an Old Fashion. And they played American rock music from the 70s and 80s.
wait for more than 10mins till somebody ask us how many people and show us the table。 I understand it‘s a lot of work to take care of a large restaurant just with 2 person at shift， but really feeling be ignored after 20mins waiting to get my food orderd. Not mention an insect fly out from the salad…call for 10mins and nobody answered
Leider wurden wir, weil wir nur etwas trinken wollten, zweimal aufgefordert, unseren Platz zu wechseln. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich. So sollte man nicht mit Gästen umgehen, die einfach nur einen schönen Abend verbringen möchten. Fazit: Man ist nur willkommen, wenn man speist. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Atmosphere was awesome, we loved the decorations and attention to detail. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed with how busy the restaurant was but still attentive to our table. Overall, it was a great experience and we highly recommend. The desserts especially!
Sehr schönes Restaurant, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das Essen schmeckt gut, ist aber eindeutig zu teuer für die eher kleinen Portionen. Eine Ausnahme bildet der Kaiserschmarren, bei dem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis definitiv stimmt.
I ate a very delicious vegetarian burger, which included falafel, carrot cream and other delicacies. The portion was completely adequate, and the price-value ratio too!

Food was incredible and the atmosphere was nice. Can recommend the Hirschgulasch (deer gulash) and Kräuterseitlinge (king oyster mushrooms).
