This has been where we can count on an excellent meal, until the other night. The pasta specials have always been great in the past. Tonight's lobster mac cheese was bland. No detectable seasoning. The ratio of cheese to mac was anemic. Milk, flour, butter...forgot the cheese it seems. Also almost forgot the lobster. Nice panko crunch. Good cook on the macaroni. But someone forgot to taste it. One of us always orders the panko chicken entre. It had been our favorite. This time the breading was really soggy. No crunch. It hasn't been like that before. Always friendly service and unique food that is also healthier to eat. The location is convenient on telegraph road just south of orchard lake road exit on the east side of telegraph. Consider using GPS as it's pretty easy to pass up otherwise. At peak times there can be a long wait. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly. Parking: Parking is tight yet I always find a spot.
Wanted to update my review to confirm that Roadside is still one of the best places around. They are the epitome of consistency. Always great staff, great service and great food. The food is exceptional, and both the service and atmosphere are top-notch. Plus, there's plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot for added convenience.

We came in for Happy Hour 3 to 7. You must sit at the bar for the deals. The wine, drinks and food offered during happy hour was great. Food portions were smal but delicious.
We went for happy hour, appetizers were small, but tasty. They only had bottle beer, no drafts and limited selection. The atmosphere was quiet.
