Four fabulous days at La Chartreuse Du Val St Esprit, and an amazing meal at Le Robert 11, which is the gastronomic restaurant in the main hotel. Our meal began at 1.30 and finished at 9 as we took a break to prepare for the amazing dessert trolley. Unlike some fine dining restaurants in France, the service was charming, friendly and very attentive. Stunning wine list topped off with a Petrus at 3000 euros!! You can dine a la carte or there is a range of set menus, and all I can say is that I never seen so many happy diners! The location is remarkable in fact the entire experience of Le Chartreuse was memorable. This is NOT a stopover on route to Calais, but a destination in its own right
Good morning, We were very well received at Robert II today, with a very smiling team, we appreciated the warm passage of the owner in the restaurant room, a very nice team in the dining room who have very good know-how to serve us best and makes us feel comfortable. And as for the meal, it was very successful as every time we come of course! Congratulations to all the reception teams who care about our well-being with little attentions, including the service and the kitchen, we had a pleasant time and we really feel at home. a very beautiful place, respecting the charm of the ancient site where history is imposing. . the dishes are tasty, alternate traditional and new flavours. a perfect cooking of all dishes. a nice mention for the cheese trolley, which makes you want to choose everything. As for the wine map, it is simply stunning. too, the choice is difficult. but keep a place for desserts because there again, they are numerous and appetizing to discover if you love history.

always at the top, we know this restaurant for more years, we often go for Christmas except this year following the closure of the confinement. also from the opening in June, we returned there. aperitif in the garden and meals in the veranda. quality and refinement always at the appointment. service to the top. We had a great time there.
