Absolutely disgusting service and food. We were left for an hour at the bar and when we were asked to be seated the waitress said, “oh sorry I thought you were chatting” we knew this was a lie and when we made a complaint the chef came out to apologise because it was his fault. There was only “one chef” in the kitchen. This was also a lie. The chef showed us pictures of the ceiling collapsing from the bad rain from the night before. Surly they should have shut the kitchen!!! They gave us complimentary glasses of wine which then accumulated fruit flies in them!! My food was mediocre and my friend’s muscles was uncooked and had to be spat out. The manager did not give us anything complimentary...
I used to visit Roberto's when it was in Dewsbury and it had a completely different atmosphere. The restaurant in Batley felt unwelcoming and the staff were miserable. The experience was worsened by the constant stream of Just Eat drivers coming in with their bright red bags. I didn't appreciate the big TV playing instead of background music, and the bright lighting was a turn-off. The portions were also smaller than I expected. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Roberto's.
Visited Robertos last night, the food was absolutely delicious.the staff were very friendly and attentive and was really nice to chat to the chef/owners. We were seated to our table and our drinks/food order was taken promptly. We had asked if we could have a short break between the starter and the main which was fully accommodated. We will definitely visit again as found the whole experience very enjoyable.
We have been coming here for years as its a nice quiet restaurant with great staff, lovely food and they also have great kids menu. I mentioned to the staff that it was my daughters 7th birthday and they popped a candle in her dessert that made her day. This is our go to restaurant as we have never had a bad experience and we always leave satisfied.

I ordered takeout pizza for dinner for the first time. The telephone service was good, with everything repeated back to confirm the order. The food was ready for pickup and absolutely delicious. I will definitely order from here again. The pizza was perfect, with a spot-on base that was nice and thin and crispy - just as I had requested.
We have eaten here many times but it seems to have gone downhill. We were left in the bar for half an hour before being shown to a table the another 15 minutes before our order was taken. The food was good when it eventually arrived but with such poor service we may not return.
Probably one of the worst meals I have experienced every thing was shocking customer service food everything was poor can’t believe people actually go to this place won’t be going again. Payed over £9 for a prawn cocktail witch contained 4 prawns and some warm lettuce useless.
The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch. The chef even came out to personally serve our meals. The front of house staff were also excellent and went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

One of the best Italian restaurants there is and I've been to a few. This place is all about the food, no gimmicks, no designer decor, no snobiness. Just honest to god amazing Italian food.
As usual .. fabulous ! ... most enjoyable ................ one of the best Italian restaurants ever visited. The food is very good and the service is excellent
