We first heard about this restaurant from our landlord while staying at Hibiscus Retreat, only a 10-minute walk away. We had the opportunity to enjoy lunch and dinner there, and also experienced a special BBQ dinner one night in their beautiful courtyard. The BBQ was exceptional, not only in terms of the quality, taste, and presentation of the food, but also in the way Roby and his family set it all up for us. The food was simple and delicious, with a humble menu of local dishes, burgers, and pizzas. This review is based on what we experienced during our visit. We got to this place and it's truly amazing. The place is quiet and it is a good place to relax and chill out. The beach ie clean and well maintained. A good spot for a dip. Although you should mind about rip current in the area. The food is so so. The do serve burgers, beers, pizza and other local Chinese foods.
Awesome spot. Stayed for four days camping. Owner Roby can provide a tent/bedding etc. Beach is genuinely quiet (saw maybe six other tourists on the beach on a typical day). The food/cocktails are excellent too, and good value. Beautiful beach, very clear water, sandy (not rocky). All very low-key and relaxed. Totally recommend.

Thank you Robbie! Our family visited Robbies secret cafe three days in a row. The fresh wood fired pizza and pineapple juice whilst relaxing on a clean beach was perfect. Robbie and his family are running a special little place for those that value honesty, nature and care of the environment. This was a highlight for us!
Roby's Secret Cafe and Bar is a fantastic spot! What sets it apart is Roby's genuine commitment to the environment. He organizes beach cleanups several times a year, educates others, and involves the local community. I wish there were more individuals like him in the tourism industry in Southeast Asia.
we felt obliged to order something when the owner came to welcome us when we moved to the car. we ordered a plate of noodles with chicken and a noodle with seafood. only four small chicken pieces and about 8 of the smallest garnels in the seafood. in the grunde only a plate nudge in soy sauce.
We absolutely loved the warm welcome we received from Roby and his family. Our group of 6 adults and 7 children stayed here for a night and had a wonderful camping experience on the beach under the stars. The wood-fired pizzas at the restaurant are a must-try!
