Por si cabe alguna duda, te dejan helado pero no de indiferencia, si no todo lo contrario, por los hermanos Roca del famoso restaurante Can Roca de Girona han aplicado todo su savoir faire en la cocina a la fabricación de helados artesanales que se venden en esta heladería que siempre tiene cola. Los helados van cambiando porque se hacen con productos de temporada, y este verano destacan el de chocolate con haba de cacao garrapiñada, el sorbete de mandarina, el helado lácteo con confitura de guayaba y el helado de manzana al horno. Por si hubiera pocas razones para visitar Girona, Esta es una más y muy sabrosa!!
La heladería Rocambolec es propiedad de los hermanos Roca (los mismos del restaurante Can Roca) y supone una parada obligatoria en la ciudad de Girona. Como no podía ser de otra forma, sus helados son especiales, y no solo porque sean artesanos, sino porque cuentan con distintas bases, algunas tan sugerentes como manzana verde asada o browni de chocolate, los cuales puedes acompañar con distintos toppings que ellos te sugieren. Los precios no son caros a pesar del nombre, y de sabor están buenísimos. Vale la pena contemplar con detalle el local, muy bien decorado y con todos los detalles muy cuidados.
Un helado es ese placer que nos vuelvo locos a niños y adultos. Fríos antojos, cálidos recuerdos. Esta es la gelateria del chef Jordi Roca (el repostero famoso de El Celler de Can Roca) que es sobre todo, creativo e inquieto. Entrar a este sitio es como ir a una juguetería antigua. Hay sabores como manzana al horno con galleta de mantequilla, mango, zanahoria y otros tantos que sólo pueden ser fruto de la imaginación.
