Tried the oxtail dinner tonight for 1st time and I'm sorry but it was trash for $20. I should have taken a pic of that mess. They give you a mountain high pile of sides. The Mash potatoes piled up sky high to the top of the lid also the collard greens as well just a big mound. Then the greens juice spilling all outside the to-go plate all into the plastic bag Smh. Then on the other side you see this minimal amount of oxtail Smh. To say the least it's not even about the quantity of meat. What about quality. The meat wasn't falling off the bone at all. I shouldn't have to fight with the oxtail meat to chew it off the bone Smh. That could have stayed cooking a little longer Smh. Nevertheless I...
After coming to this restaurant for years because the previous owner was a friend. I came there today and quoted the cashier on the pricing of my meal and he and also a server went into detail how the posted menu was incorrect and were rude about it. I drove 45 minutes to get there to support a black business as i always do. I was not even given what a paid for and my bag had turkey wing and collard green juice in bottom of my bag. I’m done. I called to make them aware and the cadence was just unprofessional. I usually don’t leave bad reviews and you can check smh but this was BAD SERVICE with BAD ATTITUDES
Excellent servings for catering orders from Rochdale! The best Fried Chicken and Mac Cheese around! I have provided that, J Chicken, Barbecue Chicken and many other sides (Collard Green/Yams/String Beens, etc) and the groups have all enjoyed it. Thank You!
My favorite place to go when I'm in the neighborhood. There isn't too much in the area I'd choose to eat, but THIS, I could eat everyday! The staff is always nice and the place is clean. I'd definitely recommend itFood: 5/5
