This is my first time visiting this restaurant! My husband and I were in the mood for some delicious and authentic Jamaican cuisine, so I found this place online. The great thing is that it's conveniently located near our home. The restaurant has a clean exterior, which is always a good sign. I have to agree with some of the other reviews though, as the customer service could use some improvement. The woman who took our order at the front desk could benefit from putting on a friendly smile, as it really does make a difference in attracting customers. I hadn't visited this restaurant in over a year. However, after trying their medium oxtail this past weekend, I remembered why. I placed my order in person and was unimpressed by the front cashier/host's lackluster attitude. To my surprise, the food was prepared quickly, even faster than a McDonald's drive-thru. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that the food lacked freshness due to the rushed preparation. That night, I became sick and ended up throwing up. This was a first for me, as I have never had stomach issues from a Jamaican oxtail meal at any other Jamaican restaurant. Something needs to change at this place.
UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered two large fried chicken dinners and requested white meat. I was charged extra for white meat however when my order came only one order contained white meat chicken. I called to inform the restaurant of the error and the young lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. She basically said she was not willing to correct the error, nor did she care that the order was prepared wrong. I will be telling all of my family and friends to refrain from ordering from this restaurant as they do not value the customers who keep them in business.
Everyone's food was AMAZING! They were able to accommodate my party of eight with no problem. Wait was a little long but well worth it. Food was Fresh and hot and Portions were plentiful. My husband LOVED his rasta pasta. Salmon was perfect. Wings were fingerlicking ... literally. We will be back for more at this local gem!!Vegetarian options: Cabbage was perfect. Salad was fresh

I visited this restaurant a year ago and the food was delicious! However, after my experience yesterday, my opinion has changed completely. I ordered oxtails and rasta pasta for $20. I was disappointed to receive only 4 oxtail bones with salty, dry, overcooked, and greasy pasta. The food did not seem fresh at all. I would recommend taking your money elsewhere.
I purchased the j chicken and rice and it was so dry It did not have the j flavor very disappointing. I know it wasn’t freshly made the bones were black the meat was probably from the day before. I had food there before and it was great this time :
I ordered the j chicken rasta pasta and the pasta was bland no flavor the chicken was dry.The pasta looked likeit was tossed in white sauce with peppers no spice and seasoning. It tasted salty. I was disappointed that this food tasted like this.
Ordered Large j chicken dinner. J chicken was dry and wasn't fresh. Should of known when they brought it out in 5 mins after I ordered.

The food is amazing and the vibes in the restaurant is on point. Would definitely recommend the food here.
