when I first tried this restaurant, I really liked it, but after about a year began to change the eating. so much that I just didn't order. the last time I ordered was mai 2021. I decided to try again and I should know better. I spent 100 on 3 pounds garnel, 1lb mussel and calamari. I had to call twice because they gave me a crack instead of a whistle. I ordered extra sharp. the sauce was very salty. I didn't see thymian, my bag had several whole claws. the calamari was salty and a very small part than in comparison to eating inside. Our meal today had a lot to be desired for. Nothing we ordered had taste. Clam chowder should be creamy and with taste. I was so disappointed when we received our food. Ordered the grilled salmon plate and it was the same thing. Fish was bland and the garlic butter watery. What happened to their quality of food?! I'm missing when it was House of Seafood! Not returning to this place.
The lobster fries and crab fries looks good but they need to do something to make them hot. They come out cold. I think they have already prepared fries and then just add on top but the sauces are cold so it makes the dish cold. It's so cold the shredded cheese is cold not even the slightly bit melted. We absolutely adore The House of Seafood! It is one of our local favorites. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch.
