We attended the Beer, Bourbon BBQ event mainly for the Rockland BBQ food truck, but our experience was quite disappointing. We waited in line for an hour and 14 minutes before we could place our order. I opted for the meat platter, which included brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken, and chose potato salad and cucumber as my sides. The staff told us our order would be ready in two minutes, but sadly, it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, my order didn’t include the potato salad I had requested. I came here with my Dad last week, who is a huge barbecue fan but has recently had to take on a healthier diet. He got the salmon sandwich and still hasn't shut up about how much he loved it. The set up is order at the counter and take to your table, with grab and go condiments/silverware near the counter and napkins on each table. inside is clean and spacious, with some outdoor seating on a patio. Their BBQ is delicious ?. I loved the spicy mustard sauce and the sweet potato pie. The brisket and pulled chicken were cooked to perfection. Collard greens pretty good. The macaroni and Cheese got sumweird black PEPPERCORNS that get stuck in your teeth. But- Overall the Flavors were phenomenal. Clean busy environment. Of course, every other BBQ spot was closed or sold out for Memorial day. But they came through. CLUTCH. Besides a nagging NANCY... she mad I called in my order and I got called to pay before her. Yes, it's that type of neighborhood. But I'll definitely be back! The food is amazing. And I gotta come back for the Texas corn pudding.
I visited this restaurant for the first time this weekend and ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, grilled wings, mac and cheese, collard greens, and cucumber salad. While the chicken had good flavor, it was a bit dry. Unfortunately, the side dishes didn’t impress me much. However, Hailey (not sure about the spelling) provided excellent service, which made a positive difference to my experience, earning her some extra stars in my rating. Saw there were good reviews and decided to check it out for the first time. The food was good but the portion size was a bit small for the price. The jalapeño cornbread was an interesting take , surprisingly the flavors went well together but was a bit dry. I did get take out so by the time I ate my fries they were soggy. May stop by in person to eat to see if it’s better.
I had a decent lunch, but it used to be much better. I woke up with a craving for Rocklands, so I drove there to grab some food. Unfortunately, the beef rib was half fat, which was disappointing. The wings were mostly bones with hardly any meat. However, the sides were perfect. Overall, I'd rate the food a 3 out of 5.
I had a wonderful experience with my delivery through Grubhub. The items were well-packaged and arrived fresh and delicious. The BBQ sauce is amazing! I will definitely order again and plan to visit the restaurant in person as well.

Walked past this store and was drawn to the shop by the fragrance of barbecued meat. We made impromptu plans to dine here and were not disappointed!
