Rock-n-roll Sushi - Tisch reservieren

We went here in-between movies on Saturday and we were so hyped for sushi! We got a round of the tropical themed drinks to go with the Barbie theme since we were seeing the movie. They were pretty underwhelming. One was just spicy with no other flavor, and the other was just mega sweet. The sushi was pretty good! Service was interesting. The manager or bartender (I’m assuming) came by and told us that the drink I had was one of his creations and that it was made incorrectly, but then didn’t have a new one made. Total miss in all aspects, from service to poor quality of sushi. No one greeted nor seated us. Sushi was subpar and flavorless; rice was noticeably too warm and sticky. I might go as far as saying this is the worst sushi I have ever had. Atmosphere and presentation, with the little plastic cups for the soy sauce, was tacky. All around disappointing experience. I have great appreciation for and experience in tasting various cuisines, including Japanese. If you are unable to execute an authentic sushi experience, you shouldn’t adopt it, rock n roll or not.

What's not to like when you can grab a roll of sushi and be entertained by Rock videos while you eat. I haven't been to this location before, but my server, Peyton, was very helpful in making recommendations. I chose the Punk Rock Roll, and I'm glad I did. It has shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, cream cheese inside, seared tuna outside, topped with strawberry-avoca- do-jalapeño-cucumber salad, sweet-chili-ponzu dressing, spicy mayo and eel sauce. This may be in my top 5 all-time favorite rolls, and I've had my share. I will definitely be back.

I have gone to the location several times, each time I have enjoyed the food. Going for lunch get there early. I like the steak rolls but it’s expensive. The food is good and servers try to keep up but sometimes it’s too busy to get special service know what you the first time they come to the table.Food: 4/5
