well, I made a booking tonight for dinner, because the place was so busy! Also in this cool night many sat outside for their drinks/dinners. As this place is located near skyzone, there were many children who fit us perfectly, as we picked up with a friend who also had a child. / the children were happy with their fishing and chips and my man went for the burger with the one he found quite good, my lamb ragu pappardelle was neither bad and reasonable expensive. my friends ordered the stones afteros (big) that was massive! They did not really like the chicken drumsticks that had an acidic taste they did not like./ when we were fed in a brewery, my man went with the hangman and that was light...
This is the second time we have visited the brewery: last time whilst staying locally and this time to while away 5 hours between a domestic and international flight. Being only about 30 minutes walk from the domestic terminal it sure beats the overpriced mainstream...alternatives offered in the terminals and on a sunny day it is very pleasant to sit outside in the courtyard. We tried several of the beers and they were all good. Hubbie's favourite was the convict beer (fitting? . Sadly it does lack a bit of atmosphere and garden surrounds of the busier establishment a bit further up the road.
Ambience is so very different. On one side you have the large breweries. Ample seating outside. Loud music. There were 10 different beers on offer. Food menu was good. Tried the chicken wings which had a tangy taste. Great place to be with a large...group of friends. Could have been 5 stars if there was an option for table service.
Dropped in here late in the day staff were so friendly and helpful with menu choices great service and enjoyable atmosphere a little off the track for tourists however if you are in the area great place to dine as the food was great!
