I wasn’t impressed. It doesn’t look like a fine dining experience from neither the outside of the building nor on the inside. The staff wasn’t really welcoming and I found that a bit awkward and wanted to leave upon sitting down. The food I ordered wasn’t anything to shake a stick at. I ordered the burger medium rare and it came out well done. I don’t think I even finished my food, I just wanted to leave. I had much better food down the street, you can get a discount at the Italian place next to fire whistle if you tell them you’re going to fire whistle to wait.
This is a very nice place with an upscale atmosphere for a special event. We were meeting family we had never met. The portion sizes were more than enough and menu choices were excellent. The food is very good! Had Mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings and French onion soup. The service was great. She didn't bother us but seemed to know when to check on us. Parking: On Sunday street parking was free. I don't know any of the other parking options, but there are some Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
This is our 4th visit to the Red Lion. The meals are fantastic and the service is great . Least ambitious staff ever. Walked into an empty restaurant only to be told they were too busy for a party of 3. Called another time and was passed around between staff members until I was told they wouldn’t be able to accommodate a party of 5 of a weeknight. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
