I embarked on a delicious carbonara journey at this restaurant. I started with the carbonara arancini, which was excellently made. It wasn't oily and broke apart beautifully, revealing a generous filling that was flavorful and complemented the accompanying sauce and greens very well. Next, I tried the spaghetti carbonara, which was nearly traditional—definitely a plus. The top portion wasn't mixed with the sauce enough, making it a bit bland at first, but once I mixed it in, it was absolutely delicious. The waiter who attended to me was very professional and friendly, enhancing my experience significantly.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Point Cook, tucked away behind an exterior that has an almost industrial feel. The food menu is outstanding, service is top-notch, and the atmosphere inside is delightful, especially when the fireplace is lit. It’s a wonderful spot that comes highly recommended. Be sure to try the amazing tapas—the dips are absolutely delicious! The only downside is that the prices are definitely on the higher side, which makes it a bit difficult for us to visit frequently with our large family. However, it's a fantastic choice for special events or a romantic dinner for two.
The food was excellent, but the service was inconsistent—sometimes it was good, while other times it was lacking. The waitstaff didn't maintain appropriate eye contact with the customers, which indicated a need for greater awareness. This could be quite frustrating at times. Unfortunately, I didn't like the experience we had here. I'm not sure how long the restaurant has been here for but hopefully in time they will improve and get better. Entrees were nice but my main lacked flavour. Also, some staff were inexperienced. They couldn't tell us what the entrees were when they placed it down on our table (set menu). Always a pleasure to dine here, fantastic friendly staff with a smile on there face, top quality food and great atmosphere. Wether it's dining with family from overseas or local catch up with friends. I always enjoy my time here and so do my fellow diners. Waiting staff were attentive and friendly, the food took quite a while to arrive (the place was full) but when it did it was delicious. We have eaten there a number of times and it has always been good but yesterday was superb. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60
