Riley's on the Ridge is on Brookton Highway in Roleystone Perth West Australia.Dress is smart casual ,in the cooler nights as in last night the heating is on which makes for a cosy atmosphere.We started by ordering a lovely mulled wine,which was very good.As there were five people at our table we decided to choose a dish each and share as it was such a delicious selection ,and that was from the starters only .We then came to dessert.Panocota with rhubarb and honeycomb was delicious as was the Hazelnut pavlova with fresh berries and passion fruit .Finishing with coffees.A delicious evening meal .I noticed many gold plate awards adorning the walls and an award from TripAdvisor was also there.I...
A Seniors lunch special 2 coursesMy wife and I went, the menu was limited to steak and salad or fish and chips and salad. We both went for the fish,and were not disappointed. A nice piece of fish in a light non fatty batter with chips and a really good salad - plenty of green variety.Strawberry cheesecake or Apple crumble was dessert and both were really excellent.Tea/ coffee and a nice glass of Merlot made for an excellent Lunch with change from $60 - Great value.Two very pleasant and efficient waitresses what more could you want?
First time eating here, was 8pm on a Friday night. Staff were welcoming and menu was easy to choose from. It was not inexpensive, ordered the pork belly, I'm not that keen when the fat isn't rendored down enough, I know that is how they serve it though, potatoes were YUM, Chicken was delightful.Met the chef, was very pleasent, gave us some wine! Always something that brings me back. All in all have been back a few times, and enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
Nice surroundings pleasant waitresses. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Lighting inside was bad. Had a soup which was tasteless and no spicy as suggested also looked like one ladle in a huge bowl. Garlic bread ok. Mains was quick thougj steak was not rare but they did offer to change the one I recieved. Hand cut chips were under the steak in sauce so were soggy. Service was good. From misleading advertising in the Courier we(pensioners- on- a -shoestring) thought we had found a great bargain for my 79th Birthday lunch. The food and ambience was great but the bill at the end was twice what we had planned for. We both read the ambiguous advertising incorrectly! We were certainly "caught out".
We had a lovely time. The food was excellent. One thing I'm particular with a chicken meal, is that the meat must remain succulent.. and this was roasted to perfection. The mulled wine was perfect and it complemented the cold day. Service was charming. Highly recommended for those visiting Rolleystone..
This was our first visit to this restaurant which was highly recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. It had an awesome atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff.The food was absolutely amazing and very generous portions. The wine list was extensive and was very well priced.

When driving past on a Sunday we stopped for a quick cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Service was excellent. Menu was varied and the food was great. We left content and will be back.
