Rolinn Chinese Restaurant

Restaurant was very cold inside but I figured if the food is good it would be worth eating there.All of our food was a disappointment.I ordered lemongrass chicken and that is literally all that came on my plate- chicken and a little onion however it didn’t even have lemongrass flavour. My husband ordered sesame chicken and we couldn’t even see any sesame seeds.Our fried rice smelt and tasted burnt. It looked ok but I couldn’t even eat it. No vegetables with the meals which is a first in my experience as I’ve always received vegetables with my meal at other restaurants if I’ve ordered chicken, beef, seafood.Price was not cheap either! My son wanted a fried rice takeaway. Total was $8.50. I didn’t have any cash on me (who does anymore? Was told the minimum on eftpos is $15!? I told them that was against the law. I understand the bank cc surcharge is generally about 2%. I offered to pay $9.00 which is more than the 2%. The woman serving us started yelling at me about the minimum eftpos! She finally said “I’ll let it go this time but you never come back!!!” Ummm yeah...don’t you worry about that. Who wants to be treated like this? While waiting for the fried rice, two customers walked in. I told them don’t bother. They’re incredibly rude here...and they walked out. You see? Word of mouth travels very quickly when you are rud...

We have been loyal and happy customers of Rolinn for many years but lately the food has been terrible. My daughter usually has lemon chicken with extra sauce. The sauce is usually thick and good. The last few times it has clearly had a cup of water stirred through it which made it tasteless, watery and didn't taste great with the rubbery chicken that came with it. The fried rice had seafood extender in it ... seriously! ... and the other food was just as bad. It all got thrown out. So sad to get such rubbish food after so many years of great food. We will be finding a new Chinese takeaway and sharing our experience with others. Lift your game Rolinn! Very disappointing.

Was at Rollin 24/09/16 Has not changed in 20 years. Food quite ok but service very poor. Young lad waiter was reaching across in front of us to pass dishes to others at table. Only 4 of us and another table of 3 but we ordered second lot of drinks and after at least 10 mins had to ask again. Other table were from Ascot Park Bowling Club (had uniform on) and were exceptionally loud. We could not hear each other talking. Have not been there for about 2 tears and will not be going there again in a hurry except possibly for take away.Very poor evening Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Special fried rice was absolutely no good. Gluggy and coloured yellow. Tasted strange, nothing like standard. King Prawn Omelette was just fried in the pan like a normal omelette, only with prawns added, flat and really dry without sauce. Banana Fritter was ok but icecream a cheap watery quality. Service was friendly but I wouldn't go back.

Bought 2 serves of Special fried rice took 3 mouthfuls binned both! (Not cheap either) Lacked any flavour what so ever, tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago and reheated 3 mins before we got there. So disappointed.
