When I came here last time about two years ago, I had no complaints and everything was great. I came here on Friday night around 8:30 and did not have the same experience. We waited a very long time to get our drink and even longer to take our order. By the time our food came out, which was 45 mins after we ordered, the burger was over cooked and had gunk on it from the grill, and the fries were really undercooked, basically still white (I should have taken a photo, sorry It was so bad I had to send my food back, which I absolutely hate doing because I hate wasting food id rather just eat it. And I was not the only one to send their food back.They were severely understaffed. the lovely serve...
they dropped the ball, great time. this was one of our favorite, but on today's visit, we will not be back for some time. less than positive reception at the arrival. I said there was a 10-minute waiting period, which was clearly nonsense in view of the number of unoccupied tables. I had to ask if we could sit on the bar what our preference was. one of the beers could warm up for 7 minutes before it was finally delivered and the chips and salsa from chopped tomato in a bed salat as old it was yellow and devastated. most chips were stale. the bar we sat on, looked like she hadn't been wiped since the johnson administration. inattentive staff, warm beer, dirty bar and stale eating.
I've ordered from here a few times. Sometimes they are great, other times not so much. Kids pasta dishes are an insane portion, great value. Once received a burger that was completely raw and bright pink inside. Ordered the other day through doordash and they somehow mixed up my order. It was my name on the receipt but the items listed were not the ones I had ordered (ordered a chicken burger and a burger, items on receipt and delivered to me were sushi, goyoza and chicken strips) so clearly someone at the restaurant messed something up.
We stopped in for lunch because we were in the neighbourhood, and had such a good experience. The service was smooth and friendly, the location was beautiful, and the food was delicious. I had the shrimp tacos and Kennebec fries, and I was surprised at the generous quantity of shrimp in my dish. Went for a casual dinner with my daughter. She ordered lettuce wraps and I had the Nashville chicken burger. I can't remember the last time we had such terrible food. My chicken burger was almost all batter that was burnt or over deep fried and oddly enough the chicken inside was rare. The lettuce wrap was dry with hardly any chicken. Would never return to this restaurant.
our server, jess, was excellent patient, honest and accommodating! our eating lasted longer than usual due to internet problems and management took care of us very well! the magic mushroom burger was delicious! Many thanks for an unforgettable time to sit on romer's beautiful terrace! will definitely return when we are back in this neighboring!
wings and slides ordered during the happy hour. wings were burned, but tasted ok. slider were tasteful. fries. nothing spectacular. total good joint. eating was decent, but the service seemed distracted. I came because of the name romers, because I had good experiences in the city and in kits.
Menu is great but service in Port Moody location is hit and miss and the misses for me have been so bad, I have left 3x now. Great location, but managers need to do better so their staff does better. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Thickest and juiciest burgers in Vancouver. I love everything from the toppings to the brioche bun. I love the pineapple on the yellow dog burger, and the salad or fries are all delicious.
