Huevos rancheros bland. I feel that a restaurant that has the audacity to omit salt and pepper from the tables should make perfect food. Well, the huevos rancheros were very disappointing. Some black beans…not refried, just plain, unseasoned beans. The salsa was a bit better but still under seasoned and lacking on chilli and flavour. Scrambled eggs were ok, but tortillas tasted of charcoal/burnt. I was expecting lots of tasty chilli flavours. I asked for Tabasco but it didn’t really improve it.
I am partialy deaf and often find it diffcult understanding glasgow accents. the young glaswegian lady who served me didn't make any effort to speak more clearly or slowly when i asked what she said and seemed anoyed. this made me sad. english is not my language. she got my coffee order completely wrong and it tasted so bad and was lukewarm. staff also play their music loudly. AVOID! will never return!
Good quality, very tasty food at a really decent price. Staple brunch food using great ingredients and all beautifully cooked and presented. Always like when tap water is brought automatically. Friendly attentive staff and warm inviting space, in the heart of the vibrant west end. Dog friendly too.
Roots Fruits have added a wonderful corner cafe (formerly a bank with retained art deco features). Great atmosphere, excellent service coffee, scrambled eggs on toast and fresh croissant (good portions) an excellent start to the week end. Dog friendly too! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Samosas to be avoided, They're dry, tasteless and with a case like cardboard paper. The young woman who served me overcharged me as well. £4.97 rather than £3.27. Almost a 45% overcharge. Insult to injury.
I don't live in the West End so don't get over there too often. Met a friend for a brunch in the cafe it was very good both food and coffee with a very pleasant server.
Just lovely....gorgeous coffee stop, so cam back for brunch, had lovely Deli Breakfast and Poached eggs spinach on sourdough, beautiful setting and great staff

Fantastic waitstaff! Vegan breakfast was great! Loved the sausages and beans and sourdough. The huevos rancheros were good too.
