Rosalinda's Filipino Kitchen

Rosalinda's is the kind of restaurant that feels timeless, like it's always been around and will continue to be. It has that friendly, Cheers-like atmosphere where everyone seems to know each other, and the owners greet you with a warm "Hey! How are you? Great to see you again!" as you step inside. The food is never pretentious, but it's consistently good and solid. There’s often a line to get in, but I’ve rarely waited more than five minutes, and it's always worth it. I found Rosalinda's a few years ago while searching for the best breakfast in Vernon, and now it's the only place I ever go.

Would qualify as a Diner . Varied home cooking menu selections with many Philippines traditional selections. Breakfast is great, and all day with good Philippines breakfast selections. In-house bakery with sales counter and the Yam toast choice for breakfast is very good. Menu and bakery prices are very affordable, and servings are filling. Very busy on weekends, but the turnover is quick with only about 12+ tables (depending on customer group configuration) so wait is not unusually long. Staff are welcoming, outgoing, friendly and service is so efficient and fast.

We are from Lamont, Alberta, and recently went for breakfast with family and friends. It was a FANTASTIC experience! The food was expertly prepared and served, and the menu offers a perfect variety. Prices are very reasonable, and I believe this will become our go-to meeting spot in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant—it's small, bustling, and incredibly welcoming. If you have a bit of patience, you'll be rewarded with a memorable experience like we had. We will definitely be back for more; it was worth the 10-hour drive. Thank you!

I had a late breakfast at this restaurant with my family of five, including my 7-year-old. It was a delightful experience! The food was flavorful and the portions were generous. There’s nothing pretentious about it—just delicious and efficient dining. The service stood out with genuinely caring staff. Even though there was a wait to get in (it was a Sunday morning), it was definitely worth it. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Vernon. Great place to get breakfast food. It was tasty and it didn't break the bank even with a few extras .They give you the option of fried or grilled. The two gentilmen that were working were very friendly and polite . For sure I would go back again . Oh and the place looked a little ghetto but usually those kinds of places have the best food . We drove from Penticton and searched for a place for breakfast. We were very pleased with the extensive menu, the quality of the food, the service and the attention to the many customers. We would highly recommend it.

Super organized and very clean. Delicious natural healthy food, and filling portions. Home baked rye bread. Prices you can feel good about, and a community feeling in the diner. Well worth the stop
