Tried to eat here for lunch on Good Friday but we were too late at 3.30pm. This is a very popular restaurant which had been recommended by our hotel. This is a very family orientated restaurant which was nice to see. We booked dinner for 8.30pm instead. Food here is excellent. Service is also very good. It is not cheap in relative terms as our shared starter, two mains and wine was euro 65. Could not fault anything we eat but there is a heavy salt element in the food. We probably booked too early as the other diners arrived later and the atmosphere was lively when we were leaving. Can recommend
Rosas advertises on a big plate outside the restaurant that they were awarded the best paella in Alicante in 2015. That might be true, though the paella served in 2017 was not the best I have tasted. The tuna was weird and the rice was not properly cooked. Also tried the meat tapas dish, which turned out to be a mixed grill plate. It was ok, but why camouflage it as tapas? Desserts (panacotta, chocolate mousse) was average. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere on the little square, with varied street musicians performing.
By far the best Paella restaurant in Alicante. I have been visiting this restaurant for years. My wife uses this establishment for work meeting and my self for pleasure we even had my daughter Chloe’s birthday party here a few years back. A great selection of fresh sea food and a great bodega selection. A family run restaurant that I have seen grow over the years. Being a chef my self I can totally recommend Rosas.

We've visited Rosa's on quite a few occasions now and do so because of the great hospitality and excellent quality of the food and drinks. Always great service with a smile and reasonable prices too.
God, they can grill! We enjoyed a wonderful fish, we already visited twice and will visit again. Great desserts, perfect tinto de verano... and just everything. Must-a-visit.
If you feel like you like fish, or some fruits from the sea, you have to come here. Rosa's is a very friendly nice family run restaurant with delicious seafood!
