The servers were great. Attentive without being annoying. The food not so much. I had oyster stew. I believe that they boiled the oysters in a bit of milk and water tossed in a bit of margarine and called it a wrap. This oyster offering should be renamed Oysters in flavorless water . I also had the Seafood Platter. The cod was substantial and the taste was good but; short of noteworthy. The atmosphere is that of a cafeteria soup kitchen.
My husband brought me here for my early Birthday dinner, first time being here. He loved the oysters and the whole catfish and I had shrimp and scallops. Our waitress was Dee Dee. We had a wonderful experience with the food and the staff. We will definitely be back.
This is the only place I eat catfish . It is the best. My fathers brother came to Columbus for a visit and he ate there (he's from Brunswick Georgia now he tells everyone if they go through Columbus they must stop and eat there. Been going there for years.

Skipper is the owner and he is an Awesome Man. Love to eat at skippers great food. Great service very friendly staff. I eat there as often as I can.He has Fresh seafood to prepare yourself. Try Skippers you will really enjoy it.
This Was My First Time There and I Had A Very Good Experience. The Service Was Great and The Food Was Delicious. My Waitress Was Perfect. I Had The Chicken Deluxe Meal and The Friend Had Catfish. Every Was Good ?????????
Short wait to be seated on a Saturday night! Service was good, food was excellent, and raw oysters were great! We drove to Columbus to eat there among other things. It's always the go to place when we're in town!

Just moved here from WV and ate there with my family. This is some of the best seafood ive ever had. The raw oysters were on point too! I'll definitely be back.
