Since the bus to Northland, and the tram, passed by this place I would occassionally jump off and have a beer. While it is not walking distance from my house (it would take me 40 minutes) it was close enough to be reasonably convenient. In fact it is a fairly quiet pub, as far as suburban pubs go, and does have a reasonable ambience about the place. They offer cheap meals, and drink specials, but it is basically what I call a Woolworths pub - namely because it is owned by Woolworths. I'd probably come back again if I was in the area, and even though it isn't my favourite, it certainly isn't all that bad.
This a great pub with excellent staff. Sharon our hostess for the day was amazing Sharon was friendly and attentive. Hope management realise what a gem they have. Food was excellent, 9 of us dined and not one complaint. We were very happy with the establishment, staff and food. We will be back next month for our monthly catch up
we went for the trivia and had a great time. good step and fun. jordi the trivia gastgeber is friendly inclusive. we ordered dinners and were all satisfied with the presentation and taste of the food and the service we received. delicious coffee was available and a good opportunity to finish the evening.
I had a caesar salad quiet small $18 and topped with grilled prawns $8 for 5 small prawn tales. I advised the waiter that l thought it was a bit expensive for the prawns amd could he advise the chef no reply

The service was disgusting. The food looked like it had been microwaved. Wasn't worth the money we paid. Think twice before eating or having a drink here.
