1. Location is crucial. This restaurant could perform much better if it had easy access to free parking, wasn’t next to a questionable liquor store monitored by police, and wasn’t located in a rough area. The bulletproof plastic at the entrance doesn’t help its reputation either.
2. As for the food, I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a one-pound ribs sandwich. I don’t get why the burger wasn’t freshly grilled. Did you really just microwave the burger and ribs while hoping I wouldn’t notice? That’s quite bold.
3. The staff in the back seemed more focused on gossiping than doing their jobs. If they want to chat, they should at least appear to be busy.

My boyfriend and I wanted something different for dinner and neither one of us were in the mood to cook. My boyfriend pulled up some black-owned business in the area and decided to give Rosebuds a try. I am not a big rib person but overall, the food was good. I elected for the pork platter with greens and mac-n-cheese and my boyfriend chose the beef platter with hamburger beans and potato salad. I googled ribs near me and chose this place from the listing due to it being black owned and the reviews. I got the smoked chicken rib combo with collard greens. The ribs were so tender and just overall good! I would go back for ribs. The chicken, however, was not seasoned but was very tender. The service was dope.

Only open a few days out of the week first time here and tried the pork chop patter, and shredded pork sandwich with 2 sides a piece potato salad,coleslaw, coller greens, and the hamburger Beans everything was delicious. Parking: It's a in area where there is parking next to building
VERY affordable and VERY tasty. I had the smokey turkey wings, mac n cheese, and their fries, which are seasoned. Visited for the first time the day b4 Thanksgiving and I will be back!! After slowly eliminating all the soul food in the area, this one should be a keeper.
