Came here for dinner after the Rosedale Horse Trials. Did not have high expectations and yet they still failed to deliver.There were flies everywhere and did not seem to be any air conditioning considering it was over 30 degrees.No one to welcome you when you enter just a sign saying to order in some other room. I had a aussie parma for 24$ Unfortunately it came with a large amount of onion underneath the cheese. I hate onion and if it had been mentioned on the menu I would not have ordered it. The schnitzel itself was okay. The chips were actually pretty decent. To say I have driven by this pub countless times would not be understating things, but tonight it was time to walk in and find out what this pub is all about. I knew they had a pizza menu, so I thought it would be a glorified pizza menu on offer. To my surprise they have a comprehensive pub menu. The service was exceptionally friendly. The serving time is very good. There is street parking, public parking within walking distance and street parking... so you will never have to vie for a park. The pub itself is quite large inside...which leads me to the only let down for me this evening...it was quite cold inside the venue. Visited here during our stay in Rosedale. Came very highly recommended by the woman who owns the Coachlamp Motel. We started with a couple of drinks on Saturday afternoon. Very sleepy with a couple of the locals sitting the the tab area watching the footy. Very sleepy town pub. It does get busy for the dinner crowd that start to roll in at about 5:45. Meals are served from 6-8 pm in the bistro. Bartenders were friendly and drink prices are fair. Overall a good place for a drink and probably a good meal. Sadly not a lot of vegetarian options so we didn't eat here.
Stopped in here on our way home. Was very quiet. The woman behind the bar was very cheerful and friendly. Ordered our meals. Great they had gluten free options. Meals came out in about 15 or so minutes. My partner ordered a Parma, as he does every pub meal. And he loved it. Best one he'd had in awhile. Real chicken, great sauce lots of cheese. Only negative he had was they put it on the chips. I had chicken avocado. Really nice. Left feeling very full and happy.

We have been here for dinner 4 times with various visiting family members passing through Rosedale and have had a great meal every time. Saturday night - ladies get a free glass of bubbly with their meal. They also do half serves which is great for a lot of seniors who cannot eat the huge meals they serve. Also have a kids menu.
Went for tea with a group of friends, meals where really quick, my only disappointment was my chicken wasn't cooked. I had to take my daughter to the toilet and when I returned my plate was taken so I didn't get to tell them. I did tell the waitress next time she walked past however there was no apology.
Lovely friendly atmosphere in a historic area. The Tavern here had an extensive menu, and our choices were served in a good time frame by pleasant staff. Both meals were cooked beautifully from fresh ingredients. Keep up the great work!
Great food, service and company what more do you need. Friday nights billiards and raffle tickets Yeah just like a good Aussie Pub you'd expect it here in lovely Rosedale would not now lots of locals go there and visitors too.
