An absolute great atmosphere to dine in! Me and my partner try to eat here at least once a month (we drive 30 minutes to come here) and every time it has been a wonderful experience. It’s affordable, the food is great quality, and the staff is more than welcoming. It’s great that diners such as this still exist and thrive in a time where you’re surrounded by chains and fast food restaurants.
I am a longtime resident of Kenvil and the road leading to Live Gem is the best part of living here. I have been coming to this restaurant for nearly 20 years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the staff is attentive, and the establishment is very clean. If you are ever in search of an exceptional breakfast or lunch spot, Live Gem is the place to check out!
Cute little breakfast spot my husband and I tried last week, the food was hot and fresh and there were many options to choose from. Small wait to be seated which wasn’t a problem, just there is no where to wait. You awkwardly stand by the entrance or hover almost on people as they eat. Not a deal breaker and we already discussed coming back, just wanted to share with others
I decided to try this restaurant on a whim and I absolutely loved it. I ordered the steak and eggs Benedict, which was awesome. My mother had the French toast and sausage, with huge links that tasted delicious. My sons had pancakes and thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff was friendly and I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan on going back.
Service was stellar but the food was borderline so-so. Asked for well done Taylor ham and it was burnt and disintegrating. My GF can’t eat bacon pork and her home fries tasted like bacon and her omelette was not very good. My pancakes were ok but nothing to rave about.
I take my daughter there all the time when we go for breakfast/brunch because it's the only place that has, in our opinion, the best food. Their customer service is the best, friendly, fast, attentive, and always make us feel like we are welcomed.
Old school luncheonett! George the owner who is an old acquaintance of myine and has been doing a great job with this place for years and still works his butt off making every one happy with food and service. Good job buddy!!
Going to miss this place, but Florida is calling me, miss my family who all live there good luck you guys are the best, especially the gentleman who always waits on me, tall dark handsome lol
For many years, George has been providing the community with delicious and affordable meals. The food is consistently excellent and the service is fast and exceptional.
