I want to start by giving a big thank you to Marta, our server, who provided exceptional service to my wife and me. This restaurant has been a staple for as long as I can remember, and it’s clear why it has stood the test of time. One pleasant surprise is that they serve menudo seven days a week, which is definitely a plus. The meatloaf was delicious, and the vegetables and gravy had a uniquely tasty flavor. The music could use some updating, but this is more of a laid-back spot if you’re looking to relax. Overall, I would rate the restaurant's presentation a solid 8.5, mainly because the restroom could use some attention. In terms of taste, I’d give it a 9, and the customer service deserves...
The staff is personal and kind. They are slow due to being shortstaffed because of the economy. But the food is always good no matter what you order. We love the chilaquilles, fried chicken, my kids love the spaghetti and fettuccine, the beans and rice are good. I don't recommend the taco salad. This is one of our consistent neighborhood restaurants. Good food, good people. If you're in a hurry, consider someplace else. The baked dishes were outstanding—both comforting and inventive. I also enjoyed the cooked meals and lunch; they were incredibly flavorful. The staff was friendly, and the establishment was very clean. The omelet was delightful—light, fluffy, and made with fresh ingredients. The latte tea was excellent as well.
I highly recommend this place! The location is great and the service is excellent. Everyone enjoyed their cookies so much that they even bought some to take home for their relatives in Philadelphia. My relatives from the East Coast loved them! Simply amazing!
This charming family-owned restaurant has been around since 1977. The customers are fantastic, and the servers genuinely smile, making for a warm atmosphere. They even serve rice for breakfast, which I absolutely love!
Once again if they have a kids menu they're family-oriented and it's a good place to bring your big family for the more they have a unique menudo posole combination I've never seen before with chicken in it.
