Our young server seemed unfamiliar with the wine selection and mistakenly brought us three glasses instead of the bottle we ordered. The pastas and starters we had were decent, but the sauces at Crown are a bit on the sweet side, and we personally prefer a more savory flavor. Unfortunately, the pizza was disappointing; it tasted like it might have come from a frozen store-bought crust. With so many excellent Italian restaurants in the city, we likely won't be coming back.
Four out of five of us loved the food. My husband did not like the meatball spices. I finished his meatballs. I loved the taste. The texture was different, but a good. I wished there had been a green house salad on the menu. Our server was friendly and helpful. I loved our corner table. My goal was to step out of our comfort zone and try a new restaurant for the New Year. Overall, we had a very good experience.
Everyone in Cincinnati needs to discover Rosie’s Italian Kitchen. The Arancini appetizer is an absolute must-try. For our main courses, we enjoyed the salmon, carbonara, and shrimp scampi (served with pasta), all of which were delicious! To top off our meal, the tiramisu for dessert was the perfect ending.
Rosie’s was a bit expensive, but food portions were generous and tasty and the ambiance is much more sophisticated than it appears on the website. Friendly, yet professional service and an overall enjoyable experience. If you get the eggplant parm, plan to share! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Our server, Greta, was just the best in every way—knowledgeable about the menu items and wine list, very professional. Our pasta entrees were delicious and cooked just right. The low lighting after dark is very romantic!
The food was exceptional, and the service was incredibly friendly. Located in the heart of downtown, the ambiance is delightful. The salmon I had was among the best I've ever tasted!
